The Swarovski 1956 Porsche 356 Speedster is one of CrystalNinja's most celebrated solo projects. Kellie applied 247,148 Swarovski crystals entirely by hand over 462 hours across 39 days, covering the full body of this classic sports car in sparkling perfection.

Every crystal was placed individually using Kellie's patented Crystal Katana tool. The Porsche 356 Speedster is a timeless silhouette, and the crystallized version became an instant showstopper at car events and exhibitions. This project demonstrated that one skilled artist, working with the right tools and techniques, can transform an entire vehicle solo.

437,000+ Swarovski crystals in a cherry blossom design

The "Ciao Ninja" Fiat 500 is CrystalNinja's personal masterpiece. Completed in 2020, this build features over 437,000 Swarovski crystals arranged in a stunning cherry blossom design that flows across the entire body of the car.

Unlike a simple full-coverage crystal job, the Ciao Ninja required artistic vision on top of technical skill. Kellie designed the cherry blossom pattern to follow the natural curves of the Fiat 500, creating a piece of rolling art. The color palette blends pinks, whites, and crystal clear stones to bring the blossoms to life. This car has become CrystalNinja's signature vehicle and a crowd favorite at every show it attends.

In the summer of 2025, CrystalNinja took on the most ambitious rhinestone project in the studio's history: a full crystallization of a $4.5 million Aston Martin Valkyrie Spider for social media personality and car collector SuperCar Ron (Brad Bonham).

The Valkyrie Spider is not just any supercar. It is a limited-production hypercar co-developed by Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, powered by a Cosworth 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 producing 1,160 horsepower. Only 85 Spider variants were ever made. Covering one in rhinestones had never been attempted before.

The Build: By the Numbers

The Crystal Ninja Team, Kellie, Suzie and Steve traveled to Utah, assembled and trained a team of 10 crystal artists specifically for this project. Working under their direct supervision, the team logged over 1,500 hours applying more than 300,000 rhinestones to every exterior surface of the Valkyrie. The aerodynamic body of the Valkyrie, designed for Formula 1-level downforce, presented unique challenges with its deep channels, complex curves, and active aerodynamic surfaces.

Event coordinator Tace Anderson helped manage the logistics of the reveal at Monterey Car Week in August 2025, one of the most prestigious automotive events in the world. The bedazzled Valkyrie made its debut to massive crowds and went viral across social media, generating millions of views.

SuperCar Ron's reaction video captured the moment he saw his crystallized Valkyrie for the first time. His genuine shock and excitement reflected the impact of seeing a multi-million-dollar hypercar transformed into a rolling work of rhinestone art.
